Our research continues on our site in Apache Junction. Attached are two items – one is a still from the portion of our video that deals with the surrounding housing and walking distances of our site, and the other is a completed clip from the video on the lifecycle of a suburban house, which is something that interests us very much. Arundhati, my site partner, will have more posted tomorrow – http://arundhatighosh.wordpress.com/.

Thanks Arundhati
I like the animation. I think it gets the idea across in a diagrammatic manner. The next phase should be remaking that animation in terms of a site/aril photograph and give us some ideas about quanities and multiples of houses. It would also be interesting to should the expansion and contraction of the house in 3D. Therefore get more 3D.
PS I love the house. Those Dutch are good.

Apologies
I was commenting on Eriks when I thought it was yours. Some of the animation begins to address the consequenes of the 2D animation in a more 3D manner. However I think that the zoom in and panning animation needs to go further. Could the context photographs and/or the arial photos incorporate “ 02.2 Grasshopper! 09oct09” of the house expansion and contraction to further illustrate the point? Could it demostrate the “time line of suburbia” in 3D and as a multiple?
Keep going. The animations are a great way of showing the ideas.
